Payment for office services and co-payments are due at the time of service. This includes consultations and laser treatments at the Swanson Center. We accept payment by cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Financing is available.

Cosmetic procedures will generally be performed at the Swanson Center. This allows us to provide you with the highest quality of care at the most reasonable cost.

Cosmetic surgery is not covered by your insurance carrier. The fee for consultation is $50. Fees for cosmetic surgery, scheduled at the Swanson Center, are due one week prior to surgery. This fee is quoted at the time of your consultation, and is comprehensive, including anesthesia, the facility fee, follow-up visits, garments, and routine preoperative blood tests. Usually, the only other expense that is not covered is the nominal cost of filling prescriptions.

Cardiogram
If a cardiogram is needed (usually in patients over 50) there is a small charge (about $51) for this test and interpretation, which is done at a separate medical office. If you have had a cardiogram within the last year and have no heart problems, a copy of this EKG should be sufficient.

Insured Procedures
You are responsible for payment of procedures for which there may be insurance reimbursement (removal of skin lesions, treatment of nasal blockage, breast reduction), but the Swanson Center will assist with insurance filing.

Laboratory fees (if applicable)
Laboratory tests (usually microscopic analysis of skin lesions) are billed to you directly by the laboratory and you will receive a separate bill for these charges. Often, your medical insurance plan will cover this charge.

Cancellation Policy
A cancellation charge of 20% is applied to any cancellations of surgery with less than one week's notice to the office.
